Well it’s all over for another year, but what a party it was. With about 96 attending, the highest number yet, we filled the Hough End Centre for a night of eating, drinking and dancing. As previously Hough End laid on a first class meal with a choice of menus, followed by entertainment from ‘Dave’ (must find out his surname one day) whose singing and DJ’ing had folks dancing the night away for the rest of the evening. The tables had been decorated with balloon table centres (which had been put together in the morning by a small but select group of precision table decorators to exacting standards i.e. all balloons exactly the same size, all ribbons cut to the same length etc), streamers and party poppers which made the room look absolutely brilliant.

We had our own home grown version of X Factor during the evening with two Chapter members taking the mic for renditions of Mustang Sally and My Way. Well done Mandy and Pete.

All in all a great night and a great way to end the year.
